Dr. Rosalind Watts
Creating Islands of Connectedness for Psychedelic Integration
Abstract
This talk will explore the construct of ‘connectedness to self, others and world’, why we need more of it, how psychedelics can boost it, and why we must build structures and containers to help maintain it longterm.
We will look at the ACER (Accept, Connect, Embody, Restore) model of psychedelic integration, zoom out to reflect on the different phases of the western psychedelic renaissance and what is coming next, and think about how you can help create islands of connectedness in your own community.
Biography
Dr Rosalind Watts is a prominent voice in the psychedelic field, known for creating tools, models and practices such as the ACE (Accept, Connect, Embody) Model for psychedelic assisted therapy, and the Watts Connectedness Scale. She now focuses on community and lineage building to contribute to our collective work of restitching a fabric of care strong enough to support the introduction of psychedelics into western culture at this time when the old paradigm is collapsing. She created the ACER (Accept, Connect, Embody, Restore) Integration Community, an online global mycelial network of people seeking to regenerate their inner and outer worlds via a 12 month process guided by the wisdom of Nature.
